Autism Emotion: Teaching Emotions Through Music and Photos
Autism Emotion is an iPhone application developed by Model Me Kids LLC. This free educational app aims to teach children and teenagers with Autism and Asperger Syndrome about different emotions using music and a photo slideshow.
The app covers four emotions: Happy, Sad, Proud, and Calm. Users can easily navigate through the photos by touching the forward and back buttons or choose the slideshow option to automatically advance the photos. The navigation menu allows users to select their desired emotion at any time.
Autism Emotion is based on the Model Me Faces & Emotions™ DVD, which is part of the Model Me Kids® social skills training series. The app features audio narration in English, descriptive text for each photo, and songs by Music Therapist Rachel Rambach.
